About Us

Joyce D. Thompson-Mills serves as the Executive Director of Legal Services.  She was with the NCAA in Indianapolis, most recently as the Director of Infractions Appeals Committees and Hearing Operations.  Prior to that she was Associate Director of Enforcement and Assistant Director of Enforcement at the NCAA.  From 2001-2002 she was a Legal Liaison at the Indiana Department of Health.

Mary Koenig currently serves as Legal Project Manager.  Mary joined Legal Services in June 2021 as Assistant to the General Counsel.  Prior to arriving at ISU, she was the Senior Office Associate for Resource Development at the United Way of the Wabash Valley and Ad Services Clerk at the Tribune Star.

Raquel Thorpe has rejoined Legal Services as Legal Services Assistant and Quality Compliance Coordinator.  Raquel was a member of Legal Services from June 2021 - June 2022.  Prior to coming to ISU in June 2021, Raquel worked at Fleschner Stark Tanoos & Newlin managing Social Security Disability cases.
